January 22, 1986 - March 22, 2003

This song was inspired by the life and memory of Pat Tierney and is dedicated to him and his classmates from the Glenbard West High School Class of 2004. While the song is drawn from a student's point of view and centers on graduation day, its reach is universal. Hopefully, this will help us realize that each of us in our own way has a lot to give...."if we just stop and listen, take a moment every day." There is much more we can do.

The Patrick Tierney Scholarship Fund has been set up by his family, which will continue to help Glenbard West students for years to come. This scholarship will be awarded each spring to a student who most exemplifies the academic standards and work ethic that were characteristic of Pat.
